CITRIS Seed Funded Projects

CITRIS hosts many multi-disciplinary smaller centers in which information technology is being developed to solve large societal problems including healthcare, services, and intelligent infrastructures (such as energy, water, earthquake safety and sustainability). UC researchers from Berkeley, Davis, Merced, and Santa Cruz or groups of faculty from these universities may apply for a one year seed grant in the range of $50,000 to $75,000 to grow a CITRIS center, where Information Technology or similar is used creatively for their "Interests of Society" mission. Below is a list of current and past CITRIS Seed Funded Projects.
